Was born in Savannah Georgia but raised in Atlanta Georgia from the age of two. Styland began to play the piano at the age of 14 after his parents purchased a keyboard for him and his brother for Christmas. Without having any prior interest in playing the piano, Styland began to practice very hard at learning this new found calling. It was not long before he began to play the piano in church services without any formal training.

   He attended and graduated from North Atlanta School of the Performing Arts, where his talent and gift began to flourish; playing in school talents shows and other events, it was becoming evident that God had invested the gift of music in Styland’s life. Upon Graduation Styland joined the U.S. Armed Forces and served his country faithfully for eight years. While in the military his gifts and talents did not go to waste. While serving a year in Korea, Styland became the minister of music for the largest Christian service in Taegu Korea and also was the minister of music for the South Korea Christian Conference where he taught and directed musicians and a choir of over 200 voices.

    Having the opportunity to direct, play and sing for several groups, choirs and praise teams, Styland has totally surrendered his gift to God and will not look back. He runs an up and coming recording studio and is starting a record label (Music and Soul, Inc.) He is a music producer, songwriter, play writer and spend a lot of time investing in the talents and gift of others. Styland has written scores for movies, plays and produced tracks for several artists. Consecrated and appointed to the office of Overseer in 2012, Styland is now the Presiding Overseer of Kingdom Advancement Ministries, Inc. (C.D.C.) and is the Overseer and Senior Pastor Day Star Temple Ministries.

   Out of all the gifts and talents that God has invested in Styland, he feels that teaching the Word of God is the greatest gift God has bestowed upon him. Wanting to see the life of the sinner change and the eyes of God’s people open to His will and way in this day; God has sent Styland out as a messenger of promise, hope, deliverance and salvation for His glory.
