The law of sowing and reaping is one that stand as firm as the Law of Gravity. The understanding that what goes up, must come down is embedded in the minds of every person who has the strength to thrust an object in the air.There is an automatic expectation that the object released will return momentarily, just watch and see if it doesn't come back. As a matter of fact the law also gaurantees that the object in return comes back faster than it was thrusted.

Sowing and reaping, giving and receiving follows princples that are very similar. Jesus established the law in Luke 6:38 when he said "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For the same measure that you measure with, that shall be measured to you. There is one significant point that must be noted; though tithing and offering is necessary for the spiritual and physical growth of the church, how you give is much more important than what you give. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says God loves a cheerful giver;

but, please don't sell God short because He knows your heart and your pocketbook/ wallet. We are encouraged to do our best and give our best, for we expect God to give us His best. Remember what you sow is what you reap!

So as you pray about this giving opportunity, humble yourself, know that you are sowing into good ground and expect for your giving to return to you with the thrust that Jesus' promise has gauranteed.

God Bless you
